Films/protecting door films

Films, protecting door films

A protective barrier against moisture and noise

The doors of motor vehicles need to be sealed to prevent water ingressing. Water is able to enter the inside of the door, mainly due to the sequence of movements of the window glass. The task is to protect the interior door moulding from this moisture. This is where waterproofing films are used.

Unused cutouts in doors in preparation for the installation of loudspeakers must be sealed with noise-damping material.

As you can see: there is an extremely wide range of uses for precision-stamped contours, preformed and self-adhesive films and plastic foam parts!

Our range of products is designed to fulfil your requirements:

  • films with self-adhesive screen-printed foils
  • butyl glue applied by three-axis robots
  • partial pockets and formed shapes or deep-drawn welded-on covers to provide three-dimensional contours as required
  • films made of PE, PVC, ABS, PP, TPO, PU as well as foams in different thicknesses.

Please contact us if we have piqued your curiosity. We would be pleased to offer our support and advice on problems with moisture as well as choosing the right film material and determining its best possible geometrical shape.

Sample parts are available at short notice on request.
